Sirj is an up and coming producer from San Carlos, California. He started his musical journey in kindergarten by learning the basics of the piano. After mastering the technicalities of classical music, he decided to switch over to jazz in his high school years. Even though he still participates in a jazz combo as a pianist, he focuses his time and energy on making hip-hop beats.

Inspired by Logic’s early work and Los Angeles rapper Ab-Soul, his beats are oftentimes sample-heavy, relying on the basics: piano, drums, and bass. However, his artistic ability is not limited to just these three. He has a couple of beats that would perfectly fit over some Travis Scott vocals, which makes sense considering Travis is one of Sirj’s influences. He believes the best music is one that is made on feeling. Says Sirj, “The feelings music gives to people, that feeling is what motivates me to work harder.”
